Family Promise
We participate in the Family Promise program that works to enable homeless families to become healthy and financially independent. Once a quarter the church houses 1-3 families at the church for a week at a time. Families participate in various programs under the guidance of a social worker until they are able to support themselves independently.
Gilbert Elementary Partnership
We have a partnership with Gilbert Elementary where we volunteer as Reading Buddies for at-risk students and provide meals and other support to the faculty and staff.
Irving Cares
The congregation supports and participates in this general social service ministry by contributions, food collections, etc.
